Requirements for LABC Track and Field
Participants can be in grade Kindergarten through 8th.
All participants must be residents of Lehighton or attend a school in the Lehighton Area.
Divisions:
Peewees: 6 years old
Juniors: 7 and 8 years old
Intermediates: 9, 10, and 11 years old
Seniors: 12, 13, and 14 years old
AGE THE DAY OF THE MEET WILL BE USED FOR PLACEMENT IN EVENTS, REGARDLESS IF A RAIN DATE IS NEEDED.

*All participants must make at least 7 full practices to participate in the track meet. (NO exceptions)
*We know your child/children may be involved in other sports and/or activities, but we ask that you try your best to have your child attend the entire track meet. It makes it easier for our head coaches to keep track of their athletes and their events. If for some reason your child/children need to leave during the meet, please notify your head coach immediately.

Cancellations due to weather
Due to the large number of participants, we will NOT be making phone calls this year to cancel practice. If practice is cancelled, it will be posted here by 5:00 PM at the very latest. If it's not posted by 5, then practice will be held. We just ask that you either stay at the track or in near vicinity of the track in case we would have to call practice. If you see that it's about to rain, please come to the track immediately to pick up your child/children.

PLEASE WEAR SNEAKERS (RUNNING SHOES) NO CLEATS!
SHORTS, SWEAT PANTS, SWEAT SHIRTS, LONG SLEEVED T-SHIRTS, HATS, GLOVES. It is always cooler and windy at the track.
PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN WATER OR GATORADE (NO RED).
PLEASE PLACE EMPTY BOTTLES IN TRASH CANS.
